Hi-I’m Peter Vogel. In my 30+ years of experience, mostly in the retail and wholesale sectors, I’ve learned a lot. In my heart, I’m a Merchandise Capitalist. I loved to search for new products and feel the creative buzz you get when you find them and figure out the best way to sell them! Most of my career was at a unique 10,000 sq ft specialty store in a college town focusing on Fashion, Gift and Home products for young at heart women. Other leadership roles were at a 20+store chain, Rickys NYC, and in store level management at Toys R Us.
In this next chapter I’m looking to help businesses improve their bottom line by using analytics better and through small changes to merchandising and operations. This I call Detailed Thinking. To Retail is to Detail! I’m pragmatic and results driven. My experience includes developing from scratch or partnering with others to refine existing systems. Systems related to most aspects of business operations including training strategies and materials, merchandising including display, planograms, marketing & advertising, store and stockroom layout, replenishment (single and multi-store) and other areas. Please contact me to discuss how fresh eyes may help increase your bottom line. Thanks for taking a look. Peter
